KID’S PRAISE NEWS!

The week of July 16 had our halls filled with the sounds of children, youth and music! Fifty young peope took part in the 14th annual Kid’s Praise Musical Camp. The children learned about “Finding their Path” and “Sharing the Journey.” They were absolutely awesome! What a great group of young people!

Special thanks to Cindy Adamsson for her wonderful story and the countless hours she spends each year on Kid’s Praise.

Thanks also to Markus Jamison for being the adult courageous enough to perform WITH the children.

After only one week’s time, 50 Kid’s Praisers took to the Sanctuary on Sunday, July 22nd to intertwine music with their message! It included real life paths that our Kid’s Praisers traveled this past year. (kidney transplant, mom in Iraq, spinal surgery, house fire, Jamaican Work Camp, to name just a few)

We feel confident in saying, that in each choice we make in life, God is with us and we need our brothers and sisters in Christ as we “Find Our Path – Share the Journey”! GOD IS GOOD!

Diggin’ into DISCOVERY Ministries

Because this weekend is a grand celebration of God’s Love and is designed to include much of our local church family—there will be weekly “digs” in the bulletin that share specific opportunities!

A 43-Hour spiritual formation retreat created for mid-highs (5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th graders) Here at First United Methodist Church! Many rooms will be used for worship, prayer, games, small group, and sleeping
Discovery invites the ENTIRE CHURCH FAMILY to live out its Baptismal covenant of surrounding these mid-highs and youth with a community of faith, love and support!
